Summon Chime

About

What's a better way to announce to everyone that they are peasants until they get a self driving Tesla.

How to set this as your Summon completion chime

Requires a .wav under 1 MB and a USB drive. Used as the ASS / Smart Summon arrival sound.

  1. 1
Download the chime file. It saves as ASSChime.wav — already named exactly how Tesla expects it.
  2. 2
No reformatting needed — you can reuse the USB drive that came with the car for the dashcam. Just unplug it.
  3. 3
Place ASSChime.wav directly at the USB root — do not put it inside any subfolder (not in TeslaCam, Boombox, etc.).
  4. 4
Plug the USB into the glovebox data port.
  5. 5
Go to Controls → Autopilot → Customize Summon (or the Summon tab in the app) and set Completion Sound to your custom USB sound.
ASSChime.wav lives at the USB root — the same drive can also hold a LockChime.wav if you want both.
